Who we are
Kampala Parents of Children with Disabilities Association – Makindye (KAPCDAM) is a community development Association that advances the rights of parents and children with disabilities.
KAPCDAM works together with the parents of the Children with disabilities, their children, communities and partners, and strive for a just world, confronting the root causes of the challenges facing Children with disabilities. The organization empowers parents to sustain their children and demand for their rights.

A society in which disabled children and their parents are fully integrated in society and enjoying their rights.

To empower groups of parents of children with disabilities to maximize their potential to improve their standards of living.

Founder
After the successful founding of KAPCDAM, Teopista also started the skilling center she has dreamed about.
Anthony Lusaggi
Executive Director
Overseer administration, programs and strategic planning. Exp. Over 10 years in managing projects and Disability-related work.
Josephine Nyanjura
Finance & Admin Officer
She is responsible for KAPCDAM Finance department and has experience of 5 years in financial management work
Betty Nanangwe
Focal Person
She is our focal person and has 1 year experience in coordinating health interventions.
Allan Kisaka
Tailoring Officer
He heads our Tailoring unit and is responsible for training our beneficiaries
